The cinnamon one on the previous video had a big white patch on its chest, I've also seen blonde bears with cinnamon butts and legs.
I don't know how their genetics plays a part, but we used to call the California brown bear the state bear, when in fact, they're all considered black bears genetically.

Lux, our male GSD was throwing a fit out front, I thought I heard geese flying, but I couldn't see shit through the forest, so I walked out, he's pissed, just stood his ground and wouldn't back down.
So I stood there looking across the area when a baby Cinnamon colored bear, no more than 200 lbs. if that, pokes his head up, and goes back to eating.

Yes, Toy's daughter came up and cleaned for Mothers Day, but obviously didn't get the bear can locked because she's too short to push it down to lock and he drug in out and had a good time.
I felt sorry for the little shit, almost felt like letting him finish, but I didn't know what was in there that could hurt him.

Anyway, I guess it was time to get up.

Can't believe the size of the wildlife you have. 200 lbs if it has an attitude is defiantly something to pay attention to. How is Toy getting around now, is the worst over?

I gave her a shower yesterday for the first time, she's been to scared to attempt it so she's been using a huge pot to wash.
It went fine, and with all the stuff my neighbor Alex helped with, and her daughter coming up and cleaning, she's much calmer than she has been, including clean sheets, and a bath, she slept well.

I got the solar pump hooked back up on the spring and we now have a full tank.
We'd been buying water from Placerville the last three times, about six months, though clean and relatively pure from the upper American river, they still chlorinated it, and it is still not as good as my spring, which has less particles that all bottled water.
So that was a huge deal when Alex did all the work, I just showed him how to hook it up.

A once illegal alien kid, turned out to be the best neighbor ever. I trust him with my home and dogs implicitly.
Life is easy again, for now.....
