Looks like you're getting a touch of the subtropical weather we've been experiencing.
It's been unseasonably warm, lows around 50, and the high is 54 and one Hell of a lot of rain. Drought...What drought?

We been holding around 23º night time and 28 to 30º day time.  But tonight is warming up into the 30'sº.  Look like some of that is coming up our way from you.     Starting Sat. we will be in the 40's+ with rain.  Good news for the dry farmers for next year.   I think I see Spring coming.

Yep, most of Ca is not only out of the drought, but way ahead of normal rainfall.
I've gotten over 10" in the last week, and that's pretty good for this early in the season.
It's nice that I'm not having to plow it off the road.....as of yet.

Ready for a soaking? I don't know if they're forecasting the winds we're expected to get, but this should prove to be one Hell of a storm, with rain accumulations of 7" plus inches.

They've issued a imminent danger of extreme high winds for the valley to the Sierra,
Valley to get sustained 50 mph winds, while my are is to expect 100+ mph gusts winds, sustained winds at 70, beginning Thursday evening through Friday.

This is going to suck. :glare:

We are calling for some rain off and on so am not looking for more this week.  Wind around 10 mph and that's average  for this time a year.   We should be in the high 50º for the next 3 to 4 days.

It's starting to look like we may not get snow again until after the first of the year.  Bummer

Let's hope they don't tax you for rain runoff.

Well that was a bust! No wind, pretty heavy rain, but just 8 hrs prior to the storm making land, they predicted massive winds, and the most we got was a strong breeze.

And the libs wonder why we poo poo the idea of their ignorant prediction of AGW. Fact is, were getting colder despite their pleas to Gaia to smite man with rising seas..

About 1.5 hrs. away in Walla Walla they said they were getting 30+ mph winds, and was calling for 60 mph winds tonight.   I think we hit 10 mph.  I was think I would hit some wind going into town, but it did not happen.  Did hit some rain going in to town is all, not much.  Wipers on the lowest setting I have.   Calling for 50% rain Friday, as always the dry farmers will love it.   I can go out and wash my truck.

It has been raining steady all day.  But a little water only made the hair frizz.... It will continue overnight and lighten up tomorrow.

Looking at the satellite pic, I see the storm made a hard left at Ca and wound up off the Washington coast.
They promised us 6" of rain, and so far, all we have is an inch and a half.

Thank goodness you'all were not part of the area that got wiped out.  We are seeing some pretty horrific pics of all that in our local news.  Mud slides and houses covered up with mud and rain of gigantic proportions in some of the areas.
