  My new Doctor for the pacemaker/defibrillator ask today what all I did now that I was retired.  So I started tell him and he look at me and said you do all that!  And my young daughter said no he even does more and he has been told stop doing some of the things he has been do.  Needless to say I got my butt chewed out.

What I hate is when you hear your local news refer to a 60 year old as a seasoned citizen, a senior.
Hell, senior doesn't kick in till 70+.
70 is the new 50.

Winter coming for Friday Sat and Sunday...Snow predicted, and we haven't even had our first rain yet.

Well we are just calling for rain on Thu. and Fri. and partly cloudy for the next 5 days.  Day time in the mid 40's night time in the 30's.  Yep the tree leaves are starting to fall.

The storm coming in is bee lining for Ca, they usually come down through your are first, so this is unusual.
We lost our leaves due to smoke, the trees thought Winter came early.

We had a cold front come through two day ago for 2 days.  It got down to 19º no rain or snow.

I only see about 8 days this month above 50º the rest are in the mid 40's to 49º day time, night time 34º or below.  Today it's calling for 61º but with the sun out I have to run the A/C or the house will get up to 80º+ and the wife don't like it over 73º    Something about the change of life she has been go through for over 35 years.

I think it's safe to say, all fires are out in Ca. We got a good rain this morning across the sate, with more snow tonight, snow just above us at 5000'.

I hope the fires are out all over.  We have had rain now for two days.  That more rain then we had in two years.     The farmers on the high ridge are loving it big time.

Freezing level near 2500' to 3000' night time.  We are about 800' above sea level.

Look at this yo-yo hurricane/tropical storm/hurricane in the Gulf... This this may hit the Gulf coast as a hurricane next week...

They think it'll hit Florida? What a headache if it does.

They finally called the fire near me (Fork Fire) contained.

I knew it wouldn't be under control till Mother Nature said so.
