Well that was a nice storm, 4 inches of rain followed by 6 inches of snow, all pretty much melted.
But the upside is we'll be in the mid 60s by mid week.

Not rubbing it in to those suffering in the Midwest and East coast, but we'll take what we can get this time of year. I hear you guys may be in for a warm up next week.

Right now In CT we are at thirteen degrees with a wind chill of below two. I sure hope your right

I saw that in DC, no thanks, I hate when the pipes freeze, can't shower, flush the toilet without boiling snow.
All your tools are frozen solid, if they aren't buried by snow, car battery dead because it was getting old, trapped in the house and the internet is down because the satellite dish is iced over with a snow pack.
No thanks, I love the cold, but not that much, but I still have February to contend with, so we're not out of the woods yet.

All we have had is two lite dusting if snow not even enough to cover the ground white.  Jan. and Feb are our two snow months, so it would be nice if Feb. was like this Jan.   We have been getting rain about 2 days out of the week.  I don't remember any temps below 28 at night in Dec. or Jan.

Same here, we have yet to even hit the teens, let alone the low 20s.

Amazingly beautiful Spring weather for this time of year. Warm, 65 degrees, everything is coming up, weeds and grasses anyway.
Of course, this means only one thing, Winter will return with a vengeance. :glare:

Soooooo I go to bed last night and it's calling for no snow for the next 10 days.  I get up today and it's calling for 3 days of snow in the next 10 days.   Hello CC the sky is falling.

Yeah, it doesn't get here till Monday, but should be at least a half foot and gone in no time, my favorite type of snow storm, the kind that leaves.

I don't think I will waste my time getting out the snow blower.   As it's only calling for a 30% chance and that's on the Oregon side of the river.

Well it has been saying 1" of snow today for about a week.

It is now 2:30 A.M and it is calling for 3 to 5" of snow starting at around 11:00 A.M.
Running from 11 A.M today until 10 AM Tuesday.  Winds from the North @ 10 to 16 mph.
If so this will be our first real snow for the Winter, about 6 to 7 weeks late.

It's calling for snow again on Friday, Saturday and then on Monday of about 1" each day.
Check out the Snow blower and generator again yesterday.  Propane tanks I have one 20-pound tank and 4 30-pound tanks so I am set.

Looks like the timing on the storm matches us here in the mountains.
They're calling for a couple of feet overnight, then clear and cold around the low teens to single digits.
I welcome the single digits, it kills off a lot of the bugs, like bark beetle and hornets.
