We have been in the low 60's daytime and very low 40's night time with some rain off and on one or two days a week.  Starting 5/19 we are looking at be in the 80's to 90'.  But I don't think we are out of the wood's just yet.  Have had some winds at 30 40 MPH off and on this last week

Cutting grass every 3 to 4 days in-between some rain days.  Rain days are not much just can not cut the grass.  I water everyday from 4 to 6 A.M. but I can cut the grass by 2 or 3 PM as long as it does not rain.  This has be a wet Spring for us this year, but it's helping the dry farmer up on the high ridge above us.  As it is Mothers day it means it's the last day of freezing weather at night for the grape growers so they say.  They have been right for the last 11 years that we have been on this side of the state.  They will be clean up the smudge pots this week and checking the out for next year.

This is the size of smudge pots they use around this area for apples a grapes.

Most have change over to orchard windmill.

You're still allowed to use smudge pots? I think Ca outlawed them decades back, now farmers are forced to use wind props, like the kind found on swamp boats, or expensive helicopters to fly all morning till sunrise to keep the frost off.

Yep!  But Washington is working to become Ca.

Once they start smelling or seeing the smoke, they'll demand farmers quit using them, forcing them to use more expensive methods, while banning them from passing along the increased cost.
Ca only banned them when La complained, so the entire state suffered under the new law.
I'm shocked we're still allowed to burn off the rice fields.

As it is not there only used on the East side of the state.  So the East side is very Conservative for the most part.  The West side of the state has their problems and all there problems come over to the East side of the state.  So right now it's a stand off.   The winds come from the West side of the state to the East side of the state.

Monday was 89º for us today will be 95º and Wed. will be 75º.  Then it will start  back up around 90 to 100º off and on.  Night time low will be in the high 50 to 65º so the tomato will start to grow big time.  They just don't grow very fast when night time is under 60º.

Yeah, we've been getting the same weather here. All this week, the low goes through your area and dives back down over me.
I don't mind the heat, it's the humidity I can live without.

Day time humidity for us about 25/45, not bad for having the big river just below us.

Yeah, 40% is humid to me, especially when it's 90 out.
I live on a literal island, my property is surrounded by creeks, but luckily the ground is dry and the creeks are contained in rock canyons 500' in elevation below me, so they don't give off too much moisture unless you're camping near them, they don't see a lot of sun, so the water is usually in the 30s or low 40s..

This will be one quiet Memorial Day weekend. The temps in my area will be in the upper 60s to low 70s, meaning all the wusses will stay away.

I love it and so do the kids!!  The good wife will keep the A/C company, off and on.  Will set up the Golf ball Ladder Toss that I made in the back yard and the Croquet set in the front.  The dart, ring and bean bag toss in the side yard.

I may one day again enjoy the heat, but for now, I despise it, prefer cold over heat. Could be my Russian heritage/genetics of my ancestors, but something changed from when I was young and looked forward to 110 plus, I must have been nuts...

I think most people past 45+ don't care for the heat.   As I am  diabetic at my age I am always cold unless it is 80º outside.   My wife has been going through the change for 45 years so she is always hot, and likes the AC at 68º.  So I am outside a lot in the Summer.  If I come inside I put on a very heavy sweatshirt until I go outside.
