Well look like Thur. will be our last day in the 80º's  and Oct. 3 will be our last day of 70º.   But in the sun is will feel like 80º for the next month or so.

The wife said I should look into something for picking up the leaves this yeas.  Instead of packing a blower around for a day every week until there all gone.   I will check into something for the quad.  As I don't like the idea of using the riding lawn mower for that.  As it is set up for mulching the grass.

We got eight and a half inches of rain over the weekend. Creek went from babbling brook to roaring rampage again, mud/rockslides and downed trees.
Yeah, things are normal in the Sierra once again.

My son said he added 4 new downspout on each side of the house as it was coming down so hard in Tacoma Washington.   So that gives him 6 on each side of the house now.  He said that will not happen again, as he got his butt soaked with water even with rain gear on.      He been working on a system for using the rain water for his vegetable garden but not that much rain.     He can now divert the overflow out into the street gutter drains.

State meteorology report came out, we're @ 558% of normal rainfall for this time of year, and the dumb asses are still claiming we're in a drought.

Would like to borrow some of that for WNC. We are down 7.5" for the year.

That's actually quite a bit. Unfortunately for you guys, when our pattern is wet, it usually means a blocking high back east or or just past the Rocky mtns, cutting off the midwest flow.
In Ca, it's one of two things, drought or drown, we're heading into drowning this season.

Exactly. The high is what kept Matthew hugging the coast and it could not take the normal right and turn out into the Atlantic.
