Looking for a place to put this and decided it would fit here.

From our Sunday morning worship service.
Text reference 11Chronicles 36 vs. 11-17.

Commentary from pastor:

Recent events have necessitated a change for Christians in America.  The fact that God's judgement is no longer a case of "if" but "when" means Christians must transform from Traditional Christians to Transitional Christians.  Traditional christians labored to prevent God's coming judgement on America.  Transitional Christians will work to get as many people as possible into the ark before God's frightful wrath is unleashed on America.
Be aware that Churches will suffer and the cullingof christians will accelerate as "Pretend" Christians (This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me Matthew 15:8) abandon Traditional Churches due to increased persecution and public opinion swaying away from Biblical Principles (These have no root in themselves, and so endure for a time; afterward, when afflictions or persecutions ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended-Mark 4:17)
Do not, however, consider this a message of despair or despondency.  God has put dedicated faithful Christians in churches and communities all over America for "such a time as this" (Esther 4:14).  And God hath declared that "they which sow on good ground, such as hear and receive the word, bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold,   some sixty, and some an hundred" (mark 4:20).
I believe we can no longer save America but we can save Americans!  The ship is sinking but there are still seats in the lifeboat!  Don't despair, declare; and believe God is still seeking to save "whosoever will".

Inspiring message, key.

I will cling to hope and trust in God's "healing of our land" until it is totally impossible to do so.  Yes, it does not look good.  But like Abraham did with Sodom...... I am desperately looking for righteous people in enough quantities that God will choose to spare us!

In God's economy there does seem to be a "tipping point" from which there is no return.  Hopefully we have not yet reached that point in America.  I choose to be cautiously optimistic!

Wow, just wow. This guy has forgotten his Church history, the Church historically thrives under persecution. All the more reason for evangelism, to be sure, but I am not convinced that the ship is sinking.

I tend to agree, he sounds like he's given up.
I'm not Christian, but by God, I'll fight to the end to protect Christianity and all the greatness it's brought to the world in giving us the greatest nation in history.

I think maybe Reagan was our Hezekiah.  He brought about SOME restoration late in the Kingdom.

Then Israel turned away from the restoration that God provided through Hezekiah.  Much like America has done with Dems and RINOs.

Maybe Alan Keyes was supposed to be our Josiah, but America rejected him.  He, like Josiah, sounded the alarm about HOW FAR the country had strayed from its founding.

And now we have Barry Soetoro, alias Barack Obama, our 44th president.  He's much like the 44th king Israel had.  Both are foreigners put over "Israel" by "Babylon."  Both established the same abominations described in Ezekiel chapter 8.

I don't like where we are on this timeline!
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!
WY  Liz Cheney      SC 7  Tom Rice             WA 4  Dan Newhouse    IL 16  Adam Kinzinger    OH 16  Anthony Gonzalez
MI 6  Fred Upton    WA 3  Jaime Herrera Beutler    MI 3  Peter Meijer       NY 24  John Katko       CA 21  David Valadao

Don't know much about the bible.   But my understand everything has been pretty much been foretold in one way or the other.   There was a beginning and there will be an end as we know it.   It is how you live that will make the difference in the outcome.

That's a toughie.  Too many 'grain' and 'locust' synominies.  But the piece does show that God will go for randomness if He wants, when dealing with humans.

Some people have the misconception that heaven is where God weighs all the "good" we do vs. all the "bad" we do on earth and determines if we may enter into the heavenly kingdom.

That is not the way it works at all.  If it were, none of us would get in.  Because none of us have lived sinless lives.... or anywhere close to sinless lives.  Only Jesus accomplished that.

Our entrance into the kingdom is based upon whether the blood of Christ has covered our sins for us....... have we acknowledged our sins and received the grace of God into our hearts and tried to follow Jesus' teachings.  Are we indwelled with the Holy Spirit and perceiving His direction in our own spirits.  Do we truly love God and strive to honor Him.

Our obedience does not get us into heaven but it does earn us rewards when we do enter.  The bible calls them "crowns".

Entrance is based purely upon a heart felt "belief" in the atoning work of Jesus Christ on our behalf when He went to the cross.
