took my pears and canning equipment to the cabin,,, did up some jam,then shot to our daughters place for a house warming party.   That was fun,, cracked me up our great grandson is learning the sounds of animals now. How does a monkey go---ohohoh, good, how does a cow go. MOOOooooooo good job! How does a camel go---HUMP DAaaayyyyyyyyyy. Dam commercials,lmao. No lie it was hysterical.lol.
Back to the cabin, made a fire peeps over, they are not liking to much me not drinking hardly at all. Dont care,lol.. Up Sunday and off to the Burgoo fest in Utica. Used to be a great place for crafters, now not so much.. pretty depressing for me. Ah well so it goes, back hiome and blasted out the windows that held the a/c units. Comfortable to know that next weekend I only have about 3 hours of hit it work and we can fully winterize the cabin, camper and ready the rolling shed, after we are done pulling docks and boats... its that time of year...
Ok gottta run out back,,time to puyt the yards to sleep for the winter.... yaaaay. pfft not so much...

Yes the weekend.... must get ready for it...... tataaaaaa lol

Another summer season is now put away, all the docks boats out of the water now, cabin is ready for winter mode and the camper is ready to be drained and pickled for the winter.
Had friends come up from Boling Green area,lol, poor guy came rolling in with shorts and flip flops. Forgot his shoes. So he ran around in Himself slip on sandles and some wool socks,lol.  We had the patio heater on and a ripping fire going he was warm.  Got pretty cold in the dark.
Friends came down and they stayed the first time in their brand new camper.  We had to show them how to turn the heat on and several other things.  Then they were fine. I did have to snark on their son though. Felt bad, NOT, he got a bb gun pistol and at the bight age OF 12 he, of course, knows everything.Until he came in the cabin and pointed it at me, that was it.   I was good about it, didnt throw it in the river.  Later he decided it was a good idea to fire it off at small trees,,,,, those bb's were bouncing off and going where ever.  I got alittle more stern..... then it turned in to do it again boy and I am taking that gun and it will go in the river .... flippin cityit parents . No lesson in how to anything .....
Made puffball french toast. Oh me oh my that is goooood stuff! everyone liked it.. to bad tonights frost will kill them off. Always next year.
