Pet Peeve:

Women with girly voices. What is it with so many girls and women these days with those moronic squeeky voices? Women didn't use to talk like that.

EDIT: Also, men who sing like girly-men. I like guys who sing like David Lee Roth, not some gay boy.

My pet peeve(s)? The endless array of moronic ads on t.v. They ALL suck, but some deserve special attention-

Attorney ads trolling fror $$$$$-'Have you been injured, suffered from this or that disease, had a medical implant that has been recalled? You may be eligable for compensation!'

ALL Drug ads-'Do you suffer from bloating , gas, diarreah or constipation? Do you suffer from this or that disease? Well ask your doctor about this or that drug.
The 'weiner medicine' ads. Pleeeease! You have to be a hermit with absolutely no contact with the outside world to not know that these are available. I'm just surprised that the homos/lesbians have not brought discrimination lawsuits in this regard. You know, why are a man and a woman only pictured in these ads? Why not show two men, or two women, holding hands and strolling down the beach in the moonlight?

Probably because, despite the lamentations of the left, gays are a miniscule portion of the general population. Even in gay-concentrated San FranSissyCo, gays comprise only about 15%. It's hard to target the one in six without pissing off the other five.

Good point, but since when did the fact that they're in the minority ever stop them from suing when they felt they were being discriminated against. They could give a rat's ass what the five in six think.

How about people who have never learned to pronounce "sp" properly? I get tired of hearing even talking heads coming out with "expecially." I can only assume that they learned to xpell in a Xpecial Ed class.

And if you think there is such a word as "irregardless," turn and walk quickly away from me; it's in your best interest to do so.
