Started reading a local paper when I noticed an article on a Doctor who's name I recognized. The Doctor who treated me for skin cancer nearly two years ago has been arrested and charged with fraud, doing unnecessary surgery, fraudulent insurance claims, having untrained personal doing medical procedures, etc., etc. Since part of what he has been charged with is doing cancer treatments where there was no cancer, I'm left wondering did I or didn't I have it. Now I have to pursue finding our where I have no clue how to start. Anyone have experience with this kind of event?

PP, myself I would call my general doctor and go from there.  Or call your insurance company you have at the time.  I am sure they would like a chunk of him also.

Call the DA and find out if they can help.

I really hope your's was an honest surgery, and not what he did to others.
There really is no good answer, this just sucks on so many levels. Sorry you have to go through this,
