I want one!!! But I think they'll start around 80K for the truck and the side by side will be about 30K, that I might pick up...

Have to admit that is the first battery operated truck I have seen that I like. Only tows 8,000 lbs so wouldn't work for me, .....Maybe the misses? I bet in a few years it will be self driving. Personally, hope to have a self driving in the future, so often the reason the elderly can not live alone is transportation, as in they can no longer drive themselves to town. In about a month we will be moving and will be about 30 miles from the nearest small city and about 100 to the nearest big city, so a self driving will be a good investment.

Totally agree!!! I'm at the point where I hate driving. It wouldn't be so bad but my area has grown and we actually have traffic, as opposed to 30 years ago, when I could drive to town and not see a single car along the way.
So yeah, I'm considering Idaho and even more secluded, so self driving would be a God send in the event I get too old to even see the road.

An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h in 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with Tempo Mach 2 appears.

The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus flight, boring flight isn't it? Take care and have a look here!"

He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, only to swoop down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks, "Well, how was that?"

The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but now have a look here!"

The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly stubbornly straight, with the same speed. After five minutes, the Airbus pilot radioed, "Well, what are you saying now?"

The jet pilot asks confused: "What did you do?" The other laughs and says, "I got up, stretched my legs, went to the back of the flight to the bathroom, got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon cake.

The moral of the story is:
When you are young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, comfort and peace are not to be despised either.

Nikola Corp to go public at over $3.3 billion valuation

(Reuters) - Electric vehicle maker Nikola Corp said on Tuesday it plans to list on the Nasdaq by merging with a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, backed by investors including Fidelity and ValueAct.

After the merger with VectoIQ Acquisition Corp (VTIQ.O), structured as a Reverse Morris Trust transaction to save on tax, the combined company will be named Nikola Corp and be valued at more than $3.3 billion, Nikola said.

The transaction will be funded by VectoIQ cash in trust and a $525 million private placement of common stock at $10 per share, led by institutional investors including Fidelity Management & Research Company and ValueAct Spring Fund.

The transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020, has been approved by the boards of both companies.

The combined company will be led by Trevor Milton, CEO of Nikola and be controlled by Nikola shareholders. It will be listed on the Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol NKLA.
