You have all probably seen videos of nice cops on youtube.... but this one is a bit different.

My nephew is a cop in Austin, TX and made a stop of a motorcycle.  He never knew the entire incident was being video taped by the motorcycle rider.   It showed up on youtube and someone recognized him and sent it to the Austin Police Dept where they started using it in the Austin cop training classes.  My nephew was shocked!

Thanks tac.  He really is a super nice guy.

Unfortunately he was forced to shoot and kill a man a few years back.  It really was difficult on him.  Fortunately, the criminal's mom witnessed the event and testified for my nephew!  Said... "the cop did not have any choice but to shoot him."

He was holding his own mom as a hostage!  Refused to drop his gun after my nephew surprised him from behind.

After the normal counseling that a policeman must undergo after a shooting, my nephew moved to Austin and started with a new police force there.  He did not want to go back to work in the city where the shooting took place...... lots of gang activity and very dangerous for him.
