So I ordered this and received it today. Solar gets some weird back spasms and if I am not here struggles to find relief. Before putting it on the charger we played with it a bit. So far it appears it will do the job. It has a handle extension so he would be able to get his back. I am thinking of trying it on my arm to loosen it up. (Still struggling after the wrist surgery.)
