Well, admittedly, I'm not the sharpest tack in the box, but whatever the hell does that gibberish mean?
Where did I lose you on " Conservative" or "Republican" or "Nationalist" or are those gibberish also ?

Now that you mention it, strung together in the order you put them, yes.

I have no clue what that has to do with Nationalist Conservative Republican. I can dig the Conservative Republican idea, but the Nationalist tacked on means very little to me.

Condescend at your peril. Some of us are ninjas at returning it.

George Wallace Democrat --- at which stage of his political career, BEFORE or AFTER he got past the early bigotry? George Patton at what point in HIS career? Or, for that matter, why Patton at all when he answered to Eisenhower --- who DID become President and Patton did not.

You should amplify your original remarks. The way you're phrasing things leaves the impression you want Republicans to become National Socialists. At least it sounds that way. If not, then clarify, soonest.

I know what hes saying, but to use Nationalist with the current administration would be a poor choice,  1930s Germany had Nationalistic followers as well, had he given it a qualifier of late 19th Century America, that may have nailed it down better.

Hes just saying hes really Patriotic.

As a person who goes to Temple for shabbat service when Rabbi is in town and Torah study on saturdays ,I use Nationalist  the way Dr. Michael Savage (Jewish Conservative Radio Host of the Savage Nation ) does ,the term Nationalist existed long befor 1930's Germany . Seems like "America Last" is more & more accecptable these days & Patton Died long prior to Ike being President and if Patton had survived  into early 50's he could have challenged Ike in a few Primaries and a conventon ,and as for George Wallace he was the most serious challenger to Nixon (Winning the 1972 Wisconsin & Florida Democrat primaries and others and was on cover of Time magazine as "Our Next President" then he was shot) and he was a Conservative Democrat ( Somthing that no longer exists, to give you an idea of the range of conservatism )

Lincoln was a Nationalist Republican, but certainly a far cry from being a conservative. In fact he was more socialistic than most would believe. Your self portrait of being a Nationalist Conservative Republican, therefore evoked more of a Lincolnesque vision for me than say a Barry Goldwater or Bab Taft vision.

It's like a cross between a George Wallace Democrat and a George Patton Republican (With a little Joe McCarthy thrown in for good measure)

I think it means he's going to be a real pain in the ass, which means he'll fit right in! Welcome, Gator!  :P :P :P
