@ MM~   Oh, but you have beautiful... and I do mean beautiful Spring Gardens!

You really should head out in a motorhome when fuel goes down and you have the time. We went all around out West for 2 weeks and it was indeed gorgeous and memorable.

Lake Tahoe was pretty, but that Ouray, Colorado was HEAVENLY!

That's our dream, to purchase an RV whenever Mr. Mouse retires (might be awhile, tho) and just drive. I want to see the Pacific Ocean from California, to visit Yellowstone, to go to where Custer bought the farm (my ancestor was there), to see the Rockies, and so on. So many places!

Well, yes, our area is very nice, but to look out your window and see mountains...*sigh*...it's why I laugh every time some liberal calls us hillbillies. There ain't no hills round here... :)) ...just call me redneck, or cracker...I'm perhaps a wheat cracker.  ;)

Trust me you can not do a trip back West and do it justice in two weeks.  It takes us a month or two, just to do one state justice.   But then I am retired and have a 30’  5th wheel.  So we park and do day trips all around for a long as it takes to see the area and then move on, and start all over.  For the most part we stay away from the big cities.  If we go it is a day trip only.  For the most part we do the back roads.  That is where you can see the real quality and beauty of each state.  But then we have also been out as long a 9 months at a time. And have yet to pass the Mississippi river. LOL

I am in shock when the Northerners call us hillbillies... The highest hill around here maybe be pressing to reach 100 ft tall. Ummm... I doubt it is that tall! We have small, gentle, rolling hills. You arent aware you went over one of these hills unless you are on something like a bicycle... peddling! Basically, we are in flat country too, MM.

Hmmmm... "100 ft tall"   :))    you call that a hill, when we talk about walking up a hill we are talking around 1000 ft or more. There is a small hill that goes up for about 26 mile and its 2500 ft. and it all farm land.

So is The Dude happy to go on trips? Is she a good car rider?

These 100 ft tall hills around here are not steep-- gently rolling hills!

The Dude is very happy on trips.  She was only 5 weeks old when we got her after a very bad rain storm that almost kill her.  She owns all of the back seat. lol  But she like the center arm rest in the front the best.  Her first ride was home for 75miles in my shirt pocket.  She even likes riding on the 4 wheel ATV if it's not raining. lol
