Title: Jack Webb died 30 years ago - illustrates how different times are today
Post by: Patriot on December 21, 2012, 07:28:13 AM
Nice article.  For those who are old enough to have seen original episodes, or reruns, it was a different time.  Even after Miranda passed, Sgt. Friday spoke it in a no-nonsense way.  "Just the facts." - no BS, no PC, no worrying about the perps' self-esteem.

That was typical with all his Mark VII productions.  If I recall, Adam-12 was required viewing in police academies because they depicted proper handcuffing procedures and Emergency! sparked nationwide interest in Paramedicine.  All of his shows are top-notch.
