kramarat

That looks like a big boy! Judging from those shoulders, he'll be ready for the football field in a few years.

Elfie

Oh he is tooo cute!   How are you and he doing today?

Solar, he takes after both of us, I think.  Neither Matt, nor I, are cute, but the combination works.  :tounge:  thank you ST!

Kramarat, he has big shoulders and feet, but all the men in our family are over six feet, except Matt.  Football would be good, maybe hockey if he doesn't get too tall.

Elfie, Thank you!   I was on pain meds. and feeling pretty good, even walked without my cane a bit.  I stopped taking them today thinking I was over the hump, not the wisest decision I have ever made, but I hate medicating myself.  I am tired and sore, but pretty good, all things considered.  How is your husband doing?

Lari - He is adorable.  At my age babies are not an option but grandbabies are...  Hoping my oldest daughter will give me one eventually.   Glad to here you are doing ok.  Was this your first C-section?  Toy

ST,
Yes, this was my first section.  My induction was going fine, but at a critical moment Gabriel flipped breach.  Probably for the best, with my back problems, I think a natural labor may have been incredibly hard.

Elfie

Thank you for asking about Himself JustKari,,, he is well,,, had his appointment today and got a good report.  I thought he blew the mesh because it was so swollen but nope,,,its just fluid build up that will go away... that was good to hear. He may just be right as rain for his hunting trip this year,,,a very good thing...

My friends who have had a c-section have always told me it takes a couple of weeks to bounce back.  Hope your up and running full speed soon.

Thank you everyone, it has been a long, but good couple of days.

Solar, I have 8 and 6 year old girls, and 3 and one day old boys.  Matt wants a hunting dog soon.

My wife and I argued for weeks whether to have kids and ruin our lives or dogs and ruin our furniture/carpets.  We finally decided on both, and THAT's why I drink!

Actually, I love our kids, all of them, and the dogs in our lives.  Now that we are empty nesters, them <sic> dogs are our furry kids!!

I have three furbabys too (cats) that we had before kids.  We didn't want kids for quite a while after we got married.  Anytime I thought I might want kids, we went to McDonalds.  Seriously, Sandra Fluke should try it,  McDonalds works.

A new Mom again, huh?  Welcome to the ward then.  Mine are grownup now and me along with 'em.  That's a fine looking young man too, looks like he's bound for the football field.  Just look at the hands!  Don't they look like they could hold onto a football already?  Fed him any gravy yet?

I'm not nutz, I had four of 'em, two at one time.  That was the 2nd pregnancy.  I had a girl first, then the twin boys  and lastly the other boy.  Easy pregnancies but back then, IN MY DAY , we didn't have ultra sounds so i didn't know i was having twins.  Surprise, surprise!  I woke up with name bands on both my arms. Somebody said do you want to see your boys and i think i must have passed out.  I was not prepared for twins.  Sisters gave me a drop in shower and that helped more than I can say.
