I have recently committed an incredibly insignificant amount of vandalism due to peer pressure. I have been losing my mind from the guilt. I know what I did was wrong but I'm too ashamed to open up to anyone about it. I realize this isn't really what this forum is for but I have no where else to turn, what should I do?

what kind of damage did you to, and to whom?

CrowderFan84

I don't really know why I'm reacting this way to something so unimportant, but several people were involved in writing unsavory comments on a wall of little significance. I feel like an idiot for mentioning this because of how stupid it is

I think there are a lot of contingencies. Who was it targeted to? What was it? And where was it posted. Dependent on these, it could fall into a serious crime. They just busted some idiot up at Yale a month ago for anti-sematic comments. If it were something along those lines, you should probably think of saying something for the sake of your own sanity.

Yeah I think I will, thanks

I agree.
But, if it is something trivial, somewhere you can easily correct it, I suggest contacting the owner and apologizing and then, offer to fix it.
But if it is somewhere uneasy to rectify, or if the content is morally distasteful, I suggest you see if you can convince others to go with you to talk to the ones you vandalized.
IMHO, no one can be forgiven, nor should they be, unless an honest attempt at confession, repentance and restitution is at least offered.

Is this a joke?  Are you pulling our legs?

Be more specific about your issue.  I feel as if some punchline is only a short time away.

Go repair the damage and move on. Either paint over it or pay the property owner. Make good on it.

Nvm its not a big deal
Um, I think it is more of a big deal, than you let on.  You simple cannot be vague, and expect people to be able to help.  I take it that you are young, at least from my vantage point.  Mature people are less concerned with "acceptance" and more concerned with their own Character and Conscience.
This bothered you enough to come to virtual strangers and confess your wrongdoing, so it probably is weighing heavy on your soul.  DO yourself a favor, and address it now, and then, put it to rest.  Moral Peace and Security will surely come, if you want it to, and if you let it.
But, ain't nuttin' to me, so I've spent my 2 cents.

I agree. His youth overtook his older good sense. This is known as maturing and making good on the damage is the best path to relieving ones conscience as well as recompense to the party harmed.
As an old fart, CF84, take my advice and that of others, you won't regret making good on what you have done.
In truth, it may not have been all that bad, but it was bad enough to bother you. So retain your moral compass and take the Right path. You'll be glad you did.

I agree with Solar. Make it good and apologize and/or whatever needs to be done. That act is for you! As embarrassing and costly as it might be, the guilt will be gone.

I will relate a recent experience I had. I had gone to Sam's Club. When I got home i realized I had inadvertently not scanned a $15.98 item. I could have easily just let it go, but I knew it weigh on me. At my age I don't need that. So, the next day I drove the 10 miles back to the Sam's and told the folks. I paid for the item and lady thanked me for my honesty. Those nice words made my day.

Just do it.

It better be good.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Yep, and the fellow seems reluctant to give that info.  Maybe we didn't react as expected.
