I check my blood oxygen level twice a day.  I run from 99 to 95 with a pulse oximeter A.M and P.M.  95 is the lowest I have ever been.  I check it when I go into the doctor and it reads the same.  On average I run 98 oxygen level.  For my age they say that is great.  I use it on my finger, they say you can also use them on your ear or toe.

I have not.  But I would say if you put it on your tongue it could work.
