For someone living in China, you appear to have a better grasp of Western English vernacular than many kids that grew up here, why is that?

Really? Thanks! If you think my written English is good wait till you start an actual conversation with me in real life! LOL, that was my ego talking. The honest answer is... well, I really don't know. I guess it's a perk you get for being a fan of Tom Clancy? I read quite a few military fiction and nonfiction.  Also, being a South Park aficionado definitely helped.

Edit: Silly me, how could I have forgotten the Monty Python! But anyway, I have a lot going on in my mind recently so I just can't remember everything when answering a question. Oh well, it doesn't matter, after all it's not a Spanish Inquisition...

My brother spent time in China due to his job.  Said it was an amazing place.   He had some very nice stories of the places he went.
So do you live in the city or suburbia.  I would ask about rural but you don't seem to be a rural kinda guy, lol. Lordy be I could be wrong lol.

Thank you! That's very sweet of you. China is an am *cough*, *cough violently* zingly polluted, I mean, amazing place, just polluted.

I lived in the suburbia but got urbanized lol. The pace of China's industrialization and urbanization is insane. I used to be a rural guy when I was little though. I went hunting with my uncle-in-law, doing hit-jobs on helpless hares. He wore a miner's helmet with a headlamp on it, his preys were so unfamiliar with modern ways of illumination, that they just stood up and look sideways trying to figure out what was going on. And before they could solve the riddle... on the plus side, they tasted mighty good. No fat. But we have to watch for buckshots all the time when chewing.

I took a few shots myself, using his shotgun, but never hit anything. I didn't enjoy it all that much because I was little and the gun kicked like a horse. But I did get to shoot a type-81, which is a Chinese variant of AK47 with foldaway stock, and a type-56 semi-auto, a Chinese version of the SKS when I was a teenager, which prompted me to fall in love with guns. But it was another story.

I still go to the country side for fishing and fresh air. Gone were the days when you had to pump underground water manually and everyone had this "help out or butt out" mentality. Urbanization, it doesn't stop for no one.

Sounds relaxing for sure.       I love rural where folks is always helping folks.  Best kind of people there are.  You get a taste of it in suburbia but nothing like rural.
And with that it's time for me to get my day on.......
Have a good day.

Your IP says Japan.

LOL, the internet of China is constantly being filtered. So I have to go cloak and dagger when browsing foreign websites or the speed will be unbearable.  I hope it's not violating any rules.

Are we a blocked site in China, or is it that I've blocked China from accessing us?

Naa, actually I was wondering how you were able to get here from China.  When my brother was there, email was about it.
