An update on Solar's razor.  Harry's came out with a non-slip rubber handle which I went and purchased for Solar. (and one for me too).  We gave his original to his brother to try.

I have been using the razor for about a month and am happy with the results.  It is definitely cheaper than the Venus razors I had been purchasing.

Ok solar I figured I'd give things a few months and see what you think?

Is this still a good razor to invest some cash in? I mean do you still like it?

Had any problems with the blades getting dull or "pulling" hairs out or not cutting cleanly through them?

After say a week or two of use? Since I don't own one of these indestructible suckers from the WWII or Vietnam era Marine's:

(P.S. I am sorry, I don't know why the link for the pic isn't working and showing the pic here you'll have to "click over to their site to see it, it's just an old gillette razor ladies and gents. )
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

I'm always on the lookout for a better alternative.
Nope, still a great razor. However, if you have sensitive skin, it may irritate seeing how it shaves really close.
I have to be careful when shaving my chin, but beyond that, you can't beat the price because the blades last a long long time, so essentially they're cheaper than any product on the mkt, even cheap disposable razors.

But if you do a price comparison to say a Schick hydro at $30.0, roughly a 6 month supply of blades, to the Harry's, you're still at half the price over a year of use.
