Maybe this isn't a glass half full vs half empty situation or even a right or wrong. It's more in the lines of an etiquette problem...with that being said you problem know where I stand on this problem that happened on an airlines between two passengers.

The two are sitting in economy class and anyone that has sat in these seats know it's a tight squeeze. The passenger in the front (lady) reclines her seat giving the passenger behind her (gentleman) less room then he already has causing a huge problem for all involved.
