I have always enjoyed listening to Dr Laura and have even read a few of her books.  Unfortunately she has lost me on this one.

Not sure if this is a mid life crisis or what.  Either way it is ugly and totally in the wrong place.  I am hoping that it will come out that this was a hoax. >:( >:(

Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid!!!

At her age, you'd think the "breaking puberty" part is over, it look like some kind of rebellion.
But what has she to rebel about?

One thing comes to mind, is she did the skull in black ink.
Black ink is easily removed with a laser, that would leave her with a rose.
Still just a rose is disgusting in my book.

Tattoos are and always have been for boys entering manhood, like warriors of the past to young men entering the Military, it has always been a Right of Passage.

Like all things that carry meaning, someone will always usurp it's real meaning, like awards for standing out and above for being the best.
Now they give them out for just showing up.

Now it seems if you get a tattoo, you are just being a sheep, following a fad.

I am not a tattoo person either.  Both my daughters have them - their bodies their choice.  Best advice they ever received was make sure it represents something for you the only name you should ever tattoo is your mother (thank you) or your kids.

So for each tattoo I have made my girls explain - what does it represent for you.... :) :)

Been there with the wrong name on a visible (forearm) tattoo. The first time they cut me in a pear-shape to get the bulk of it to close up and eventually disappear. The stitches popped. The second time to remove THAT scar, the skin was too tight and popped again.

There ARE inks that can be removed later (despite color, as with the conventional inks where some colors won't go away). Your body, your life --- your health and future peace of mind.

Fiancees change. Life's like that. Tattoos aren't so forgiving.

I understand.  Years ago my daughters gave me a birthday gift of a belly button piercing.  It lasted about 3 months and then "accidentally" fell out. :o :o

It's not you, it looks terribly deformed.
Then add yo that a amateurish tattoo, and you have something you'd expect to see in a police mug shot.

Take a good look at the body that is behind that tatoo, way to young to be that of DR. Laura. My bet goes with a Joke

Doubt it, it's been several months now I think.
She got a lot of heat over it, I'm certain she would have come clean by now, but you never know, it could be just an attention getter.

And still get hits on it daily.
