Headline: OOPS: NYC COPS MISTAKE LEDGE SMOKER FOR PSYCHOTIC, SUICIDAL MANIAC

A guy sits on the sill of his second-story window smoking a cigarette and talking on a cell phone. A passing citizen looks up and sees this obviously deviant and dangerous and suicidal behavior and calls 911. Before you know it, the men in blue have the guy subdued on the floor of his apartment and bound in handcuffs.

I think it's funny as hell that the guy is a lawyer and he's suing the city's socks off.  :P :P :P

Now thats funny, and to make the story even better, I hope the lawyer, not only doesn't get a dime, I hope he gets a bill for their time.
Now had he just been an ordinary guy and not a lawyer...

In Idaho there is a road called lawyers RD so I asked my wife why. She used to live in the area and said they renamed it to lawyers RD because it is so crooked :)) ;D :o

Kinda related...

My first wife and I were traveling to see her paternal grandparents, whose literal mailing address was "Rabel Mountain, West Virginia."

My old Chevy was having a hell of a time. The road kept going from one surface to another. We'd drive on a quarter-mile of nice new asphalt, then drop onto a half-mile stretch of dirt or gravel. Then *bump* back up on new asphalt, then *thump* back onto dirt.

I asked my new wife what the hell was going on? She laughed and said, "Don't you see? The smooth parts are where the Democrats live."

I am NOT making this up.
