Why is it that they just can't leave Mother Nature to hell alone? Nature has been taking care of itself for millions upon millions of years. She doesn't need or want a bunch of idiots trying to bag, tag, vaccacinate and band every last living thing on earth that walks, flys, swims, crawls and slithers. Usually at taxpayer expense.  I suspect this just another make work, halfassed jobs program for drooling idiots that can't or won't fend for themselves. 

Let's be honest: does EVERY, SINGLE thing in the animal kingdom HAVE to be saved?

Species come and go. I am sure we will not miss some weird frog we have never seen in person, let alone in a book.
