My little 25 lb minature snauzer put a 400lb black bear up a tree a few years ago. It scared the be geebers out of me. After a while the bear backed down the tree and ran off down the hill with Fritz still hot on his heels.
I still can't figure out why that bear was so afraid of Fritz. Maybe it was the bright orange safety vest we put on him when he's out for better visabilty on the road out front. I just glad it was because one swat would have been the end of Fritz.

I watched this 3 times before I figured out the woman actually wrestled the littlest dog away from the bear.

And shoved her off the fence.  That is a true "Mama" bear act.  Toy

We had a cat like that years ago. He'd chase any other animal right off of our cul-de-sac. We never had to clean up other people's dog poop the whole time we had him. Even the pair of German Shepherds on the corner ran when they saw him.
