Yep, were partying hearty tonight, and should be in bed by 8:00 pm.

and a Happy New Year to you all!.... Went to the river,,, kinda cloudy and yucky on Saturday, Himself set up his patio heater. He is very happy with it. Had to make a wind block with an old tarp. Now he is on a mission to make temp walls,lol. Lira was in 7th heaven running and prancing and bouncing all over the place,lol. Running here, there, everywhere. I was content watching 2 adult eagles and one young one. They hung out soaring and circling, the young one was going tree to tree, coming down really low swooping and I am thinking basic wing learning,lol....
Ice was on the bank line,,, not much,,,but it was there. Met out friends over to the fav watering hole... not much really going on there. It didnt matter, was kinda nice actually.
Today was bright and sunny,,,, cold but bright and sunny.. and where the ice came from,,,well who knows. But it was all over the place on that river... Lira let me have 2 swigs of coffee and enough time to get my gear on, out we went... then it sounded like somehing big was crackin the ice on the bank... that was it... up up up and right now. If it was coyotes traveling the river edge I didnt want to be away from the door,lol.... then again there is that cat stalkin the place to.... As it was,,, the ice was just starting to break off. On our walk we went.... lalalaaaaa. Get back to the cabin and what the heck,,, massive slabs of ice were coming down, crackin and crunching,stacking and moving in circles. So we went back in,,, she got her treat,,, I got a full cup of coffee and watched the ice come down.... All three of us,,,just watchin in come down,,, better then tv!
