Three U.S. Marines stopped to help a retired policewoman during a hold-up attempt, and it led to some truly epic dialogue later during the TV interviews....

Quote"She said, 'Help me I'm being robbed.' I stopped paying attention to her. She's not the problem," said Staff Sgt. Ben Shoemaker.

"No — that kid was never going to outrun me," Shoemaker added. "Marines run towards the sound of chaos."

"It's really what I'm trained to do, be it recruiting, be it that — my job is to protect the United States public," said Shoemaker.

But the best of the very best?

QuoteTwigg said they then ran after the two fleeing suspects, not hesitating even though one had said he had a gun.

"I've been shot at before. It's not as bad as everyone thinks," Shoemaker said in an earlier interview. "Most people miss."

Awesome news there.

Glad they were there to help that retired policewoman too.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)
