Paintings that appear to depict images of extraterrestrials were found in a prehistoric cave in India. The images were discovered in the state of Chhattisgarh, and preliminary dating says they're at least 10,000 years old. Check them out:

Archaeologist JR Bhagat believes these images are the real deal and says they may serve as evidence that Earth was once visited by an advanced alien civilization.

"The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. Specially, the nose and mouth are missing. In [a] few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits," he told the Times of India.

Let's recap this, here. Man discovers how to make paints and invents graffiti. Man uses fingers because he hasn't learned how to make brushes. Man daubs splotches on walls to indicate a group of people. Scientists later twist this to bolster their crackpot theory-du-jour.

Oh I get it. We're the "prison planet" Australia of the universe so to speak, where other planets needed to toss their prisoners and isolate them.
They left us here with nothing and we'll hunt them down in a little over a decade.
