It is questionable if man would have prospered without the help of the dog, whether it be hunting or protection, the gap filled of loneliness alone certainly save many an early man from giving up.

Man has a purpose on earth, to feel love and hate, both being necessary to truly experience the human condition, but not all are lucky enough to find love in a lifetime of searching, so God created the dog, man is certain to experience love with the four legged companion, no matter how homely or crotchety the fat bastard is.

Thanks God, for the dog truly is the perfect creature to accompany man on his journey through life.
