The Constitution gets Amended every 10 - 15 years

I'd propose an Amendment that would limit Campaign/Electioneering spending to 200% of the salary for the position for Local/State elections and 400% of the salary for National elections or $100K. Whichever is greater.



Obviously the wording might have to get tweaked, but that's the gist of it.

Thoughts on my amendment? What would you propose?
Rules of Engagement

noun: democracy
a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

Reps pre 1912 = mostly Progressive
Dems pre 1928 = mostly Conservative

just like a liberal to tell others how to spend their money and how much.
