Newtown! Not even a nod on this board--kids have no power, especially dead ones.

Well, I guess the NRA was right.  They just had to wait out the 'NEWTOWN EFFECT'!

By "Newtown Effect," we assume you mean the predictable, perennial, mindless, knee-jerk rush to enact utterly useless and irrelevant new gun control laws (to add to the 22,000+ already on the books) in the wake of every high-profile gun crime.

Is that what you're calling the "Newtown Effect?"

Isn't it a paradox that it's the lib/progs themselves that establish "gun-free zones" around schools in the first place? They're like pens full of sheep for any wolf looking to kill with impunity.

Logic. Something that never occurs to them, it's why banks have vaults and security.
Yet they want to do the opposite with our most valuable resource, our prodigy, they want them to be not only a target, but as freakin vulnerable as possible.

Yep, sheep, behind a Saran wrap fence, held up with faith.
Faith in what? No one has yet to figure that out. Yes my friend, that is lib logic, and then we have some dumb ass that wants to score politic points over the victims of lib logic on this forum?
Yet another conundrum, like jumping into a pool of gasoline, lighting yourself on fire, then blaming Big Oil for making such a volatile product,  never once accepting any responsibility.

yep!  THAT'S IT.  I want to see REAL GUN LAWS.  Now unless you want to KILL, filet and cook an animal using a high power ASSAULT weapon with the least amount of effort, WHY THE HELL do you need one??   To shoot kids in a school or commuters on a train or people in a theatre??

You see, this is the kind of lib ignorance that we as a Nation of laws have to deal with.
Do you even have a single clue as to why we even have a 2nd Amendment? We ll do ya?
Hint, it had absolutely not one damn thing to do with hunting!

Dig it up, show me in the 2nd where it says we can only have guns for hunting.
Now, I do expect to see you make your best case instead of running off.

What is your definition of "REAL GUN LAWS"?

Our Boy better be able to defend the idea that a "very opinionated socialist" was involved in the Denver shooting of a librarian and two others. The Denver Post issued the story and then DELETED the socialist part of the quote. It simply didn't fit their crazed-right-winger narrative.

Wall Street Journal.....

QuoteAs students were returning to the school to retrieve their vehicles on Saturday, one described Mr. Pierson, a senior, as an outspoken proponent of political views that were unpopular with others at the school. Chris Davis, an 18-year-old senior, recalled Mr. Pierson once wore a shirt emblazoned with the letters U.S.S.R. and described himself as a communist. "People definitely disagreed with a lot of that and gave him a hard time," said Mr. Davis, adding that he didn't think the criticism amounted to bullying.

Yep, saw that, and ya know, every mass school shooting has had a leftist connection.

I heard the left going on about guns being dangerous, so I placed my shotgun on the porch with a full load and a full box for back up in case it ran out.
During this time, kids passed going to school, mail lady delivered mail, tree trimmers trimmed the fir trees, propane guy filled the tank, Fedex let himself in the gate, placed the packages next to the shotgun, even moved it to make room.

And I'll be damned, that gun never once made a threatening move.
I guess I got one of the faulty ones, because it didn't hurt a soul.

If Democrats and Republicans BOTH let children and dead people vote, you'd never win another election.

I went into the store yesterday and dropped about 50 bucks on various kinds of ammo. Unbeknownst to me it was the the anniversary of the Newtown massacre. I'm not a douche or anything. I wasn't trying to make a statement or anything like that. It's just that it was a rainy day, I had just gotten paid, and had nothing else to do and was planning on hitting the range next weekend. Anyway, the girl at the counter looked at me like I was crazy. Only after I got home and started surfing the net did I realize it was the anniversary of the shooting. I don't remember what day Columbine happened or the Virginia tech shooting for that matter.
