Title: Leaders
Post by: Mikey D. on March 26, 2014, 07:32:16 PM
I think the government system is completely messed up. Some of you might think I'm crazy, but I don't think there should even be a president. In a country of the people, by the people, for the people, why should one person have more power than any other person in a whole country? A better system would be to have a council of presidential worthy leaders that work together. Maybe seven of them, it'd have to be an odd number so they couldn't tie on votes. I know it's not realistically possible for the entire system to just change like that. I know it'll never happen but what do you guys think? Would that be a better system than having a president?

You have to remember, this is the first POTUS to use EOs unconstitutionally, he really doesn't have the power, what he has is a spineless Senate.
But to address your 7 point, what happens when you have an imbalance, say, 6 Marxists?
Or simply look at the damage SCOTUS is doing, or the Warren court in the past.

No, we just need to kick the socialists out of both party's and gut the govt.

With all due respect it is absolutely necessary to have one person who is the leader. I do not know what your work experience is, but any leadership by committee is doomed, especially a government committee.

The young man only has to look no further than his own school board.
