We will seeing pressures on the firearms industry ease now that the threat of Hillary Marx has gone away.  I am personally wondering if .22 ammo will drop below $0.05/round in the coming years?  How I long for the days when I could pick up a brick of 500 for $8 at Big R. (That would be about $16.50 now, adjusting for inflation....)

I think we will see "normal" pricing over the next couple of years. It will take time to get supplies back up and there is still a wait and see attitude with the hoarders. As Trump starts putting conservatives on the court things should improve.

I think there will always be some hoarders thanks to b o.

Back in October, when things looked bleak, I broke down and bought a KSG. Wanted one for three years.

Just about $725 to get into my hands, from GunBroker. Brand New, Black, latest version. A free Sling came with it, but no sights, despite the pic.

I plan to never use it, but if I must, it will be indoors.

I'll be looking for some cheap Fiber Optic or Laser Sights this WInter.

Now that's a sweet piece!
Besides, who would use sights if you're close enough to use a shotgun? Hell, that's the entire reason I bought mine.
By the way, how's the kick? I fire strictly from the waist because taking time to aim may cost a life.

You have a KSG ?

I should have known. When a man makes a good decision in one arena, he usually makes a good one in another.

(Hope you did not overpay.)

But I am CHEAP. I pinch nickels until tears flow from Jefferson's eyes.

I've not shot it yet ! Probably won't until the Spring. I like good weather, friends, sun, and outdoor ranges.

I've got over 100 rounds of #4 Buck for it. Most folk will tell you it's enough to take out the perp without maiming your neighbor on the other side of the drywall.

Yeah, I did buy it for close quarters. But it sure would not hurt to hit a target at 100'.

Prepared = Prepared.

My bad, I worded that poorly. I bought the Mossberg 500.
Actually you can shoot clean through a house with a 12 gauge, if it's your standard stucco or plywood construction.
I'm guessing you haven't access to country shooting?

A Mossberg was indeed on my list.

High Quality at a fair price.

The I decided the 15 Round Capacity was my deal-maker.

Nope.

I need to keep near a major hospital.

Enough said.
