Simply fascinating! Good find. Now they'll just use cameras, soon it'll be drones taking pics and eliminate the human component.

A federal appeals court has ruled that chalking cars is a kind of trespass that requires a warrant.  A victory for us illegal parker's everywhere.

I don't know about this.

I do know that many years ago I was parked in Boston, in a 2-hour limit Metered Space.

I put in my coins, and returned 105 minutes later - and was greeted by a Citation stating that although there was time on the meter, I had parked there for OVER the Time Limit. Which was a lie.

What did I do ? I paid the Ticket. And in the past forty years never again frequented the business in Boston I was there for.

I assume the Meter Maid had chalked me - but I don't know for sure.

And chalking or not, there is no way I know of to stop Meter Maid fraud.
