"First Amendment Audit"
« on: May 30, 2018, 03:56:00 PM »
I'm not going to post any of their videos, but they are all the same.

Liberal dickhead grabs a GoPro, and proceeds to go to a location they typically don't have any real business with (county, state, or federal location such as Post Office, Police Department, Military Base, Federal building, large company etc.).

They film the location until a security personnel or law enforcement officer confronts them, and they usually waste their time instead of having a life and leaving these people alone.

They then post their videos on YouTube for their sick, Liberal agenda driven entertainment, so they can "rate the experience.

Well guess what: I give these guys an "F", a "zero because they are complete zeros.

PS: I'm waiting for one of those Post Office workers for example to lose their shit after a hard day (who has drama in their life) and beat the snot out of these wannabe political pornographers.

Frankly, I have no problem with ensuring that law enforcement is properly educated on First Amendment issues.  Too many times I see examples where law enforcement is completely ignorant of the law and try to enforce their own concept of what they think the First Amendment should say, instead of what the First Amendment does say.

It isn't just isolated to the First Amendment either.  COPs who stop someone for no other reason than they are carrying a firearm openly are actually violating the law, as well as the individual's Second Amendment rights.

So I want to see videos of peaceful confrontations between law enforcement and civilians, where the civilians are exercising their constitutionally protected right and law enforcement is attempting to infringe on that right.  Without those kinds of videos we would never know which COPs need additional training, and which COPs don't.

I have also seen videos where the COPs have come forward to protect the First Amendment rights of the video-maker.  The videos are not about embarrassing law enforcement.  A large number of them show law enforcement acting professionally and correctly.  And that is as it should be.

I, for one, have no problem with First Amendment audits of this type.  It is legal, and serves as an educational experience.  Either law enforcement gets educated in the law, or the video-taper (and subsequent viewers) gets an education that law enforcement already knows the law and is acting correctly.  Either way I do not consider it a waste of time.

It is really no different from a Second Amendment "audit," which civilians do all the time just by walking down the street openly carrying a firearm.  Most COPs know the law and have no problem.  A few COPs, however, are ignorant of the law and are in need of an education.

Those guys (and gals) are a waste of sperm cells, and gives real First Amendment a bad name.

They force others to be a part of their agenda, and end up wasting law enforcements time just so they can post it on the internet as Liberal penis stroking virtue signaling that it is. They have no real reason to go to the Post Office (one of the examples) in the first place and intentionally cause drama when there is no need for it and they aren't even doing any U.S.P.S. activities. That seems to be a common thread among these videos.

There is a time and place for it. Nobody watches award shows anymore because they can't just accept their prize and move on. They have to force their agenda down the throats of the rest of us. Why can't we just go to the Post Office and mail something without bothering the clerk, the postmaster, or the police? Why film it? We all know what our local Post Office looks like.

I didn't say they weren't legal, but they sure as hell don't have any decency in the process. Of course the cops have to acknowledge the legality of it, but the proper thing to do is have them leave because that isn't "petition for a governmental redress of grievances". They are just being annoying little tick-turds. Besides, isn't my freedom of expression include my privacy? We get filmed per security cameras, but the owners don't put it on YouTube for agenda driven purposes.

Second Amendment is different, because we have seen plenty of civilians walking around with side arms and they don't just flaunt it into people's faces. Responsible gun owners just carry it and use them to defend themselves and/or others. You know, situations that your Liberal media doesn't talk about in pursuit of their anti-Second Amendment agenda.

You want to film the police, and expect them to act a certain way. How about you film the criminal, because they are not acting a certain way? Police is force (just like the military). I want they to be professional but there are laws they have to enforce. Laws the criminal has broken. But, you don't care about that because you Liberals care more about the criminal than the law abiding citizen. You complain when the criminal resists and police have to jack them up. How about complain when the criminal resists? How about complain about the law being broken?

I support First Amendment. I endorse low power, independent, or pirate radio as a concept (not every broadcast that comes along) but I support it. I can always turn it off. I can't turn off being dragged into someone's crap throwing contest while going about my business.

"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance."  Those in authority must be constantly checked to ensure that they are abiding by the limitations imposed on them.  They would not be wasting law enforcement's time, as you say, if law enforcement abides by the law.  There is absolutely no reason to stop and question anyone who is filming in a public area.  A law enforcement officer who comprehends the First Amendment will ignore the person making the video and continue to do their job - no time wasted.  The law enforcement officer only wastes their time when they are ignorant of the First Amendment and what it protects.  In such cases they require an education.

If you are expressing yourself presumably you are not doing it privately.  Unless you make it a habit of talking to yourself.  Also, if you are interested in your right to privacy I would suggest not exercising it where it can be viewed by the public.  With regard to law enforcement, they are "public servants" and they also wear body cams for the exact same reason as the civilian making the video tape.

I have absolutely no problem with people who video tape law enforcement performing their job in public.  I have seen video from a COPs dashboard camera that ended up exonerating the suspect, and I have seen videos of COPs coming up to the people making the video and defending their First Amendment rights against others who would infringe upon them.  Not all of these videos make COPs out to be fools and idiots.  There are a lot of great COPs out there, who are very much educated on the law and respect our civil rights.  Those videos need to be seen as well.

It is absolutely no different from the Second Amendment.  People who openly carry do not want to be stopped and have their civil rights violated any more than someone taking a video in a public area.  They know it will probably happen anyway, but it shouldn't.

Those law enforcement officers who feel the need to violate our individual civil rights need to be educated, and it needs to be made public.  That is what oversight and "eternal vigilance" is all about.  As President Reagan once said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."

For every video that exonerates a person, their are hundreds that show how exactly how they act. I support police having cameras because it will quickly show how the low-life's act. Liberals will so call for the removal of them complaining about their privacy. And, this whole conversation isn't about cops violating our civil rights. It's about you violating others civil rights, as well as not behaving decent in public. I notice that about you Liberals. You don't act decent in public nor do you expect people to act decent in public.

Videotaping maybe one thing: but, putting on the internet for one's self grandeur is another. It's not about documenting. It never was. If it was, people like you would just document and that would be the end of it. But, no. You put it on YouTube for your deluded reasons. All those videos are the same. You go visit somewhere you don't have any official business with and cause trouble. You aggravate the people who work there, which results in wasting the police's time when you act like an ass.

When people go out in public, they understand that there are all kinds of security cameras filming general areas. The don't expect some jackass to film them as they go about their day in order for you fellow Liberals to circle jerk in the results.

Again, I have never seen anybody walk around with a sidearm with the notion to cause trouble; they just carry it. They typically don't force it on others.

As I said, this isn't real First Amendment. There is a time and a place. Going into a Post Office is not the place, nor the time, nor the valid reason.

You know what's a valid reason? It's things like the Roseanne situation. It shows a bigger problem with the Freedom Of Speech. It's the Fascist Liberals in entertainment have a problem with her saying something about one of their Liberal heroes, yet have no problem when Samantha Bee says something equally as vile about Trump's daughter. She should be off the air. Cancel her show. But, they will not. Because she's on the "correct" side of the political spectrum, that will never happen.

Do you know what is real Freedom Of Speech is? Both being able to say what we really want to say. One should be able to say what they want, without the so-called Liberal moral police deciding what is good and what is bad. Either both gets treated the same in the fallout, or that's not equal. It's true equality.

I just happened to hit one of these videos when I stumbled on this thread. I skimmed through the video and all I saw was some moron inciting an incident.
I have no idea where or what the facility is, nor its purpose, but just because a place is a public facility and some moron wants to exercise what he "Feels" is his Constitutional Right, for me, is like a racist standing on a street corner preaching hate.
This guy went in expecting to be challenged and he was and rightfully so, and nothing happened outside of him making an ass of himself. To what end?

As we all know the Bill of Rights were written to protect the citizens. Liberals like to concentrate the first amendment to mean they can express anything without consequences. I think it is best to think about the first amendment as not only a freedom, but a responsibility. If we are blessed with this freedom it is our responsibility to treat it with responsibility. That word "responsibility" is foreign to leftists.

I agree with you about the police having cameras.  It not only shows the behavior of the suspect, but it also serves to exonerate law enforcement of false accusations of wrong-doing.  Filming law enforcement in action is very much about protecting our civil rights.  Which is why the videos are made public.

Naturally you fascist liberal pieces of shit do not want this information shared with Americans.  You liberal assholes like to work in secret, and citizens with video cameras are a direct threat to you.  You fucking liberals will do anything to keep Americans from finding out about your fascist criminal ways.  Which is why all true Americans carry video cameras as well as firearms to defend against you liberal fascists.

Just another mouth-breathing moron.

Are you kidding me? I'm the Conservative/borderline Libertarian who joined this Conservative Forum to be with like minded individuals. And you are calling me a Liberal?

Wow. Just wow.

You are the one who is a Liberal. Liberals only care for the Second Amendment when it's convenient. But, for the most part, Liberals want the Second Amendment gone. That is their ultimate goal regardless how they skate around the issue.

Liberals only care about the First Amendment when they control the narrative.  Hence, why you will shove a camera in someone's face without merit.

I'm just another mouth-breathing moron.

Since you aren't in anybody important in the political spectrum, you are just a useful idiot.

I won't ask again. Reply to post #34.
