Another item surely to dissapear is any stored food your children like. If you don't lock your larder, chances are good the kids will raid it. To minimize this, buy a lot of food they don't like, or don't think they would like, and store the good stuff in the boxes the less appealing stuff came in. just make the boxes look unopened. Have the spam on the shelves, tuna hidden in the Spam boxes.
