Interesting shape, not so much the curve, but all those rounded corners and trigger guard...  maybe they could add more survival hardware to it, knife, flint (lighter), eh!  Do 380's have that much following?  I think of a 380 as a step up from a 22 cal, or a back up, something for the sock / ankle holster (if I had one).   Living on a farm, I'll load it with bird shot for the snakes!

Yep, it's strictly a back up piece, which is why the curves and rounder edges, all built around a carbon fiber frame, making it hard to find in a pat down.
I've never been a 380 fan, but if it's all you have, it's a cannon compared to a fist.

True story. I was at the Capitol in Sacto. and heard several shots fired.
I went to see what was going on, and sitting on the grass was a guy holding his head, surrounded by cops.
He had a 380, put it to his head in an attempt to commit suicide, only problem was, the bullets ricocheted off leaving him with a splitting headache.

Granted, he didn't hold the gun right, but it does show that you'll need to empty the clip on your target.

That grip is so short, I'd be lucky to get much more than my middle finger on it and part of my 3rd.

a couple of years ago, we were walking out the door from church, there was quite a ruckus going on.
A skunk was wandering towards the parking lot - not normal looking (rabid).

A big guy pulls out this pretty little snake-eyes Derringer, "I'll take care of it!  Stand back!" - and gets nothing but dirt (it jumped out of his hands on the 2nd shot)
Skunk keeps on trucking...  towards us...  not scared at all.
I ask the wife for her "purse", out comes the H&K 40, one shot and the job was done.

IMO... either the target better be BIG, or it better have some kind of sighting system, dots to line up, lazer, whatever.... and a grip to hang onto.

That's funny! This is exactly why I quit carrying a 38, too damn light, couldn't hit shit beyond 12 feet unless it was a wall.
Also why I bought a 12 Ga pump. But I still need a nice little back up that conceals easily, so I'll be looking at this just for the feel, but you're right, it would be much like the Derringer, with the exception of more rounds, but still better than that POS 38, I'm almost certain.

I really hate packing weight, unless for some unknown reason I have to go to a bad area, but I don't see that ever being the case considering where I live..

Sorry to hear. Don't worry too much about it being a 380, self defense bullets have come a long way, personally I have no problem with them except most have about a 3" barrel and it will be loud.  Lots of fun, but loud.
