I know this may seem like an odd place for this topic, but consider if Commiecare were the law today and you needed a life saving operation.
Under Govt run Commiecare you are categorized as to how much time you have left on this planet, are you still productive/pay taxes, will it extend your life and for how long?
In other words, unlike private insurance, you have options, from the court to lawsuits, but with govt, guess what your odds are when they tell you, "Sorry, your life isn't worth the cost of a hip replacement", though we do offer assisted suicide, others call it late, late post term abortion of the elderly.
If that's not survival, I don't know what is. Consider this closely, most on this forum are nearing the last 20% of our lives on this planet.
