Bandages? Wraps it up?

One more no one ever thinks about until you actually need it, Lidocaine cream, ointment, spray, whatever, pack all 3 or more, even a simple cut in the right spot, be it hand or foot, can make it pretty tough going if you have to keep going.
The list is good for nearly every occasion unless you're doing triage. :scared:

That's the thing about first aid kits. the moment you use something, it needs to replaced immediately, so I have a 5 gallon bucket sealed with overflow of tons of bandages and tape, antiseptic etc. so I never actually run out of stuff.

I should add that.   Been using Gold Bond with Lidocaine anti-itch, the stuff is almost instantaneous relief... just kills the itch immediately.

We've done the same thing, and added a few more things for the house first aid "warehouse stock".   It'll replenish the travel kits, and give us what we might need at home.   Just having GOOD Bandaids instead of those ultra-cheap, non-stick plastic ones that come in the prepackaged 1st aid kits, made it worth the effort to assemble our own.

Isn't that the truth, I always buy the large cloth type, knuckle bands are my personal favorite, three of those on a gaping wound, and I'm good to go.

Finally, I just ordered some travel bags and hiking bags for the kits we've put together.

Hard cases don't fit very well under the vehicle seats & the kids that are involved in CAP, insist on bags over hard cases.
