Pretty cool, I sell something similar, but costs a pretty penny.
I'll be watching for this to hit the mkt.

Can it be solar powered? What happens if the grid goes down?

Yes it can, but they never divulged the actual amount of energy needed.
I would suspect at least 5K at a minimum to run this thing the pressure alone is a huge consumer of energy, not to mention the fact they're using an energy injection system.

I like the idea, but it will take a village to pooling all of its resources to install one.

Video said about the amount of energy needed to power a light bulb.

The part that caught my eye was how clean water was a basic "Right".
I would agree it is a basic necessity, but not a right.

Then there was the U.N. camp, who do you think will pay for this one?

I know what they claimed, but to raise the pressures they are claiming, requires more than 100 watts.
Maybe after the UN foots the majority of the bill, thats what it costs a subsidized end user?

Of course, they really didn't say what kind of light bulb....

After watching the video again I would say they are not taking the energy required for compression into account.

Yeah, thats what I was basing it on as well, that and the amount of water they claim purified hourly.
At a minimum, it requires 300 watts to create 100 lbs of pressure, then add to that volume, the energy required for every gallon per minute goes up by an increase of roughly 300%.
