If you've ever heard a bunch of women, any age, shooting... it's always accompanied by peals of laughter, giggling, and brilliant smiles. Something happens when the guys let 'em go at it, and they cut loose with round after round of pistol & rifle fun. (I just shake my head, while they're having way-to-much-fun... guess I'm way to serious)

someone finally figured it out, women shooters have more fun than men. We think it's a big manly thing blowing up a target downrange with a ballistic tip delivered precisely on can of soda - they get all giggly ... and then order you to run down there and set up some more for them...!

I have noticed a general ability of women to seemingly enjoy traditional sports/competitive activities far more than their male counterparts. My better half claims it is the result of women truly believing the adage that the fun is in the play, not the win. Men, on the whole, tend to take competition more seriously - a left over from the days when most competition was life or death.
OTOH, put two women in the same room wearing the same multi-C-note dress, and any men in the region better find themselves a convenient and very deep hidey hole!!
