Not much of a payload, but....  If I were looking for a Bug-out aircraft, this is it.
take off and land on sea and land.

Range isn't the greatest, but it runs on 91 octane gas!
Wings fold, and from the trailer, launch it like a boat, and take off from the dock.
Windows pop out, so you can enjoy the view at 100mph, with the engine behind you, I bet it's quieter than a Cessna, better view too!

(... quietly asking God to give me $200k.... )

I've seen it up close and personal, watched it fly. Yes, it is quieter than most planes in it's class, though not quite as stable in dirty air, but then, that may also translate into maneuverability too.
Looking at it up close I couldn't help but think how light it looked, as if just the airframe alone, minus engine was no more than 300 lbs, I could be wrong, but it just looked that way.

Dirty air, meaning thermals and cross bursts.

Watched a video of it at the EAA fly-in, a "review".  The reviewer said it was geared & priced for private pilots who couldn't afford a faster plane.  Better than a delta wing.  I like the idea of a sea-plane combo, just fly out to where ever, land on the lake and done, without a landing strip.... maybe even land on snow... might not stop...  LOL

give it a few years, they'll come up with a slightly more robust version, or turbo-charged engine and variable prop for serious crusing speed... a STOL kit, extend range tanks... quieter cabin.

Granted it's too slow to really go far, but, the idea of just plopping down on a remote lake for an afternoon of fishing, YES!!!

I love it, wish I could fly, I'd actually buy one, but with my heart condition, I'd never get a license.
