That looks doable....it would make a great survivalist project.   

Years ago we rented a small stone house for the weekend, up in the mountains.

The owner built it himself.  Very rustic and quaint.  I really enjoyed it.

He took people out to the forest,
and had them learn by actually building a house.

The government made him stop.

The houses they were building were made out of wood
that was not grade-stamped,
as required by building codes.
