Someone could be dead before they got that gun lock off.   But then I have no kids around.

The lock is as mythical as giving a home intruder an even break.

Only intruders can have guns.  The home owner can have a cell phone for all the good it will do them.  Well unless you have the SS around you 24/7.

I like it!!!

We have bookshelves full of books in our living, dining & bed rooms.

Could easily do that for a Scoped 300 WinMag Rem 700...  yup, we got big shelves, and they go from floor to ceiling.  Could store ammo that way too!

New, improved catalogue system:
300 Spartans = 300 WinMag HPBT
Ian Fleming (James bond author) for small caliber pistols.
The Seven Samurai (The Magnificent Seven) for revolver ammo.
Dirty Harry for 44 Mag...
Storey's Guides to Raising Ducks for Shot Shells..
Solving Deer Problems for 30-06 HPBT
Varmint Hunting Journal for 22-250 Ballistic Tip...

A guy could get pretty creative, and the bookshelves would look so neat and straightened!

Finding old books to saw up is easy, but we, after all, are superior people.

Find old books by liberals. Nobody read them anyway.

My kids ask me if we need to move all mom's book when we moved 10+ years ago.  I told them if we don't take them all, and give just one away.  That will be the first book she asks for when the dust settles after the move.

hmmm.... Liberal books might make good fire-starter!  ...would we hear little demons screaming when we burned them?

"Mom!  What's that screaming & moaning I heard in the wood stove?"

Just fulfilling Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451's role of the Fireman.  If it's Liberal OR re-writing history, we'll use it for fire starter in the stove.

.... those campaign letters and post cards from Hillary & Donald ....  wonder if I'd hear demons growling & screaming when we burn 'em....
