LOL my cat comes in at 16 lbs and she takes me for a walk.

A solar generator does come in handy. I bought one in 2010: still works and have not changed out the batteries yet. Best for small appliances, radios and recharging batteries. Of course you can get a more robust model: http://mysolarbackup.com/

I used to sell all this stuff till the Govt screwed up the whole industry.

Shack in the woods with a wood stove and a well or spring, can't be beat.

The basics.

Maybe some candles or oil lamps as luxuries.

Add in a good arsenal and knife collection, fishing / trapping gear, pots & pans, and lotsa blankets...got it covered.
