Three solid resources have informed me that Mountain House, one of the biggest producers of freeze-dried food, is experiencing shortages.  They have stopped shipping their products altogether to some of the smaller dealers, and larger ones, such as Freeze Dry Guy and Ready Made Resources, are receiving only an allocation of a certain amount each week.
