When you make Dolma it's important to use extra lean ground beef.

Some people use regular ground beef and it turns out to greasy.

There are differences - particularly competency in making really good Dolma. Don't expect to get it perfect the first time.

Like all cooking it takes a couple of tries to really improve. I've eaten Dolama made by different people as well as restaurants and believe me there are differences.

You can also store the Grape leaves Unrefrigerated for about a month. Use a widemouthed half gallon soda bottle. Collect the leaves, don't wash them and then roll four or five at a time and stuff them in the bottle. Keep stuffing until you cannot get any more in. Jam them in. You don't want any air. Then put the cap on tight. Store in a cabinet.

The first time I tried it I left air in. In about a week, I noticed decay. I had a putrid mess. You can try it with a 12 Oz bottle the first time. Remember No air. When you open it the leaves should be fine.

I wonder if i could use my sealer to do this in a bag.  But first i should try them and see if Solar would like it.  Something new to try.  Thanks.  :)

I would think the sealer would work great.  But then you would need to keep them in a dark dry area.
