Your etiquette is failing miserably, with two word posts.
This could easily have fit in an thread on the subject in progress.

Also I take issue with what you consider "short and sweet", in reality falls under the heading of, intellectually vacant.
My suggestion to you is this.
Lose the vagueness in your posts, it comes off as avoidance of values, having the ability to be interpreted in whatever way the reader prefers.

Consider yourself lucky, most never get a warning till after discovering the boots removal requires surgery..

40 cal.

Yes, the .40 S&W is the ultimate super magical round! Just look at what an Austin, TX cop did with his MP 40 just a few weeks ago!

The pistol looks like this:

The cop was in the saddle of his downtown patrol horse at the time, and he was holding the reins of a second horse. He drew his service pistol (as pictured above) and fired one .40 S&W round at a sniper who had been shooting up the downtown. From a measured distance of 312 feet (104 yd.), shooting one-handed, the cop struck the sniper dead-square center-of-mass in the chest. His strike put the sniper down and may have killed him. (Autopsy is pending.)

The entire story is pretty wild, if you ask me. Here's a snip:

Quote"I would say what this officer did was phenomenal, especially if he didn't brace his arm against anything. For a guy to keep his composure and holding two horses with one hand and taking a one-hand shot with the other hand, it says a lot about the training and professionalism of our police department," Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said to the Austin American-Statesman.

I think it says a lot about really, REALLY lucky shots, which happen sometimes. I think it deserves prominent mention in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary entry for "fluke."  I think if you took the same cop with the same gun on the same horse to a shooting range and had him shoot at a man-sized target a hundred yards away, he'd empty at least two magazines before he scored a hit. :tounge:
