Well hell, I'm not that old yet but being older has some advantages over being young and surviving. You see I have lived a good life, made my peace with God a long time ago and have got to a point in life where I don't give a shit anymore what people think of me. I know that given a little time and you can work most anything out. I'm old enough to know I can't run very fast anymore so I'll fight to the death and death has no sting to me. I know what I know and I know I have a lot to learn yet. So over all I'm pretty secure in my own skin. And That's the advantage over the younger set in survival. How are the rest of you sitting.

We're right here with you, Bob. Don't feel lonely.  ;)

I'm glad to have you as part of the forum! You're a welcome and prized contributor.

And I ain't jerkin' your chain, neither. (Ya gotta watch some of them other guys...)

Bob, well said, and I'm there too, and I might add, I don't eat as much as I used to, so there is another advantage, along with needing very little sleep.
Older age has it upsides, not to mention the wisdom that comes with it.

Wells said, OGB.  With age comes wisdom and experience and being at peace with your surroundings and your life in general.  I would say that most of us are set in our ways, but we are still open-minded enough to seek more knowledge.

I also agree.... strange isn't it, as we become older we realize we need to learn more...

And some Apple stock, too!  Then I would hunt down Barack Obama's momma and offer her a sizable stipend to ABORT her unborn baby.   ;D

I would have married my second wife first :P And I think I would have voted for post abortion as the only form of abortion , that way you get to see how they turn out.

Like how you said it and I definitely agree.  While in my 20's my Mom told me that eventually you reach an age where you really don't care what other people think of you anymore....  I have reached that point in my life. 8)

But unlike Solar I need more sleep.... ;D ;D ;D

LOL Sleep is the number one waste of time.  I would love to get down around 1hr a day if I could.
